Ashe was once a king but now he's only one more minion of The Grave King. Recently released from prison he's got one goal: Stay free. To do that he'll have to rescue the creature who stole his crown and save the court he'd rather see burn. But he can't do it alone. He needs Callie.

Abused, neglected, and finally shunned by The Court of Light, Callie is the daughter no one wanted. While she could never be called well adjusted, she's found happiness on the fringe of kyn society and she's done with court politics. It's just too damned bad Ashe doesn't care.
